I googled and googled and saw that Roy Lichtenstein have never painted an African person before so I decided to do it myself and cover them with chocolate-brown ben-day dots!

I just finished this piece from the friend’s portrait series. Found a chance to use the foliage/flowers drawing I did a while back.
I did this style frame for a Kulula viral, which features Z-news.
The idea behind this is to make the scene look like it’s part of a puppet show. We’ve decided to take that further by combining live footage of the cardboard cut-out letters and airplane, with computer generated background elements.
After completing the 1st portrait for my friend Meg, the possitive feedbacks encouraged me to do more. So I have started doing a mini series of these. Below’s the first one I’ve done. Trying the minimalist approach, slightly menacing 
, my own version of Cleon Peterson.
